Yes. I completely agree with Mike (and the answer, I think, is “no”). Fictional and non-fictional narrative are exactly the same, but history doesn’t not exist until we create/arrange it. History has and will always exist. It’s the interpretations and comprehensive understandings of such things that only exist after we weave together a linear time line.
